Benny Harrison is a native New Yorker, born in Spanish Harlem. Benny has always been fascinated with rhythm; his grandmother frequently caught a young Benny dancing to the pulsating beat of their washing machine. At eight years old Benny found himself behind a piano. Thanks to his mother's keen ears he soon began taking lessons. And so began his musical journey.Over the years Benny has worked with the likes of: Joe Bonamassa, Tommy James, Simon Kirke, Joe Walsh, Leslie West, Phoebe Snow, Oscar Hernandez, Will Lee, Corey Glover, Vernon Reid, Will Calhoun, Levon Helm, Paul Shaffer, Elvis Costello, Buck Dharma, Joe Lynn Turner, Henry Gross, The Doobie Brothers, Eddie Vedder, Alice Cooper, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Steve Cropper, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Paul Stanley, Carmine Appice, Bernard Purdie, Kenny Aronoff, John Robinson, Nathan East, Bruce Springsteen, Charlie Drayton, Hiram Bullock, Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, and Flavor Flav.Whether touring with The Rascals or Tommy James, Benny has proven himself an ever-evolving, cross-generational artist and entertainer.Benny recently released his debut solo album Pages, co-produced by Mike Ciro (Alicia Keys and Alejandro Sanz).
